RC2 Plus

RC2 Plus, produced by Radcomm company, is a lightweight and portable ratemeter that, thanks to the large plastic scintillation detector (PVT), features a high sensitivity.
The instrument allows to monitor the count rate and the dose rate present in an environment and, after having calculated the average level of the environmental background at power-on, it provides an acoustic warning in case of exceeding particular alarm thresholds.
RC2 Plus is available in the Advanced version which also integrates a Geiger-Muller detector for high dose rates and allows the operator to observe the acquired counts in different customizable regions of interest (ROI) in the form of a histogram.
