OD-02

The OD-02 ionization chamber, from the German company STEP-Sensortechnik und Elektronik Pockau GmbH, is a portable instrument capable of measuring ambient dose equivalent H*(10) and also directional dose equivalent H'(0.07) in mixed and pulsed radiation fields.

Thanks to a set of removable caps, the ionization chamber OD-02 allows to detect X and gamma radiation of energy starting from 6 keV up to more than 15 MeV and beta radiation of energy higher than 60 keV.

The instrument consists of a probe and a display unit connected by a cable that can reach, on request, the length of 100m to perform measurements in environments characterized by high dose rates.
