TN15
TN15, by the British company Kromek, is a high-sensitivity thermal neutron scintillation detector that uses a state-of-the-art silicon photomultiplier (SiPM) and offers state-of-the-art specifications in a compact design, exceeding the performance of a 100mm x 13mm Ø 3He detector at 4 atmospheres.
This highly compact device is fully self-contained, features built-in preamplifier, shaping amplifier, pulse discriminator and HV power supply.
Digitized data is sent to a PC via the mini-USB that also powers the unit, making an external power supply unnecessary.
TN15 comes with K-Spect, Kromek’s Windows-based (7, 8 and 10) entry-level software designed for spectral and detailed sample analysis. Data from the TN15 detector can also be analyzed using MultiSpect Analysis, the latest generation of software that allows multiple detectors to be connected to a PC with the ability to view multiple spectra, both real-time and archived.
