myOSL 2.0
myOSL 2.0 is the most compact and advanced OSL dosimeter reading, erasure and data analysis system on the market, produced by Freiberg Instruments, in collaboration with RadPro International.
The OSL reader myOSLraser 2.0, equipped with a dose read and erase function, is an automatic device for evaluating “myOSL” dosimeters with a manual loading capacity of a two-element dosimeter. Equipped with an optional feeder, it can fully automatically process up to 200 myOSL dosimeters in a single session. The myOSLraser 2.0 also incorporates a 4-LED unit for residual signal cancellation of OSLs; this function can be turned on or off based on a predefined dose threshold, whenever a second reading is required . The system is controlled remotely with a classic IP connection, via myOSLstudio software.
The myOSL dosimeter is probably the smallest whole-body OSL dosimeter on the market. It contains two beryllium oxide detectors used for Hp(10) and Hp(0.07), meeting IEC standard requirements for personal dosimetry. Beryllium oxide (BeO) is a perfect OSL material with high dosimetric characteristics, as well as being tissue-equivalent and thus very suitable for personal dosimetry. The optically-stimulated luminescence technology allows numerous advantages over classical TLDs, including fast readout and no consumables (nitrogen gas)..
The dosimeters can be supplied with customized housings, with user’s name, period of use, company logo, etc. Single-element dosimeter housings are also available for dose reading at the ends (rings and lens holders), as well as adapters so they can be processed with myOSLraser.
