GR1
The high-performance GR1 and GR1-A gamma spectrometers, manufactured by Kromek, use a 1 cm3 CZT solid-state detector and offer leading specifications in a compact form. Both instruments are fully autonomous, with integrated preamplifier, shaping amplifier, baseline restorer, pulse height digitizer, and HV power supply. Digitized pulses are sent to a PC via the mini-USB that also powers the unit, so no external power supply is required.
The GR1 comes with KSpect, Kromek’s entry-level Windows-based software (7, 8, and 10), built for spectral and detailed sample analysis
In contrast, the GR1-A spectrometer comes with MultiSpect Analysis software, a unique application that allows multiple GR1-A to be connected to a PC. It provides spectrum acquisition, display and storage functions, as well as data export for further analysis, and is also complete with a library of over 400 radionuclides.
